NEW DELHI: Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath will campaign for BJP in the upcoming civic polls. BJP sources said that he would hold three to four public meetings in the city on April 19 and 20.
"We had prepared a list of senior party members who should campaign in the city. He is very important as the party has just won the elections in
UP," said a senior party functionary.
The party is working out details about the locations where the meetings would be held. Sources said that BJP plans to gather 20,000 - 25,000 people for each meeting. "We are looking for a central point between two parliamentary constituencies, so that he can cover all the seven constituencies. We are looking at areas which have large poorvanchali population," said a BJP member.
